Tuesday, 2 December was a special evening for us. Una Ballena, the horror fantasy film directed by Pablo Hernando and co-produced with Spain’s Señor y Señora, arrived in competition at the Noir in Festival in Milan, after having already been screened at numerous international festivals.
Seeing the film receive attention, curiosity and enthusiasm was deeply moving. Una Ballena is a project born from a shared desire to explore dark and imaginative worlds, mixing unease, magic and a strong visual identity. Seeing it now at such a prestigious festival fills us with pride.
