The event film on the great figure of maestro Ennio Morricone was greeted with several minutes of applause at the Venice Film Festival.
Produced by Gianni Russo and Gabriele Costa of Piano B Produzioni, the film is a co-production between Italy, Belgium, Japan and China.
Thanks to the efforts of Orisa Produzioni, in collaboration with the Sino-European association Bridging the Dragon, it was possible to involve the famous Chinese director Wong Karwai in the project. In addition to participating in the project as co-producer, he is among the many directors and composers interviewed for the documentary, alongside Bernardo Bertolucci, Quentin Tarantino, Clint Eastwood and Bruce Springsteen.
Block 2 Distribution, the production and distribution company founded by the master Wong Kar-wai, has also secured international distribution rights for the documentary, which will soon be distributed in Italy by Lucky Red.
