During the ceremony of the Ensors, the Flemish film awards, “Marina” by Stijn Coninx received 5 awards: Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Production Design and Best Costumes. The film received as well the Industry Award and the Publich Choice Award. Since its release in Belgium in November 2013, “Marina” has enticed to theatres over 500.000 Flemish viewers becoming one of the 10 most seen films of the history of flemish film.
