On Nov. 22, 2024, Oristano’s Ariston Cinema hosted the national premiere of the documentary “Altri Animali,” directed by Guido Votano.
The film offers an immersion into the daily life of the Duemari Veterinary Clinic, run by Monica Pais and Paolo Briguglio, a couple in life and work, together with a team of young female veterinarians. The documentary follows the hectic pace of the clinic, where domestic and wild animals, with or without owners, are treated, highlighting the delicate balance between humans and other animals in the wilds of Sardinia. After the preview, the director and protagonists talked with the audience, sharing experiences and insights about the project. The film, produced by Altri Occhi with the support of the Fondazione Sardegna Film Commission, will be released in Italian theaters from January 2025.
