After its triumph at Annecy and its screening at the Toronto International Film Festival, The Violinist has come home. The film opened in Singapore cinemas on 17 September, in English and Mandarin, following its gala premiere at the Capitol Theatre, and was met with great success from audiences and critics alike.
A story deeply rooted in the memory of Singapore and Southeast Asia, it found a warm welcome from the audience it was born from.
