Call for application: Sino-Eropean Project Lab

Bridging the Dragon, in collaboration with ARRI, will kick off the 3rd edition of the Sino-European Project lab on 14-16 June 2017 before the Shanghai International Film Festival. Six European and six Chinese film projects suitable for co-production or with a clear link for collaboration between China and Europe will be selected for the Lab. Participants should be creative teams of director & producer OR writer & producer from Europe and China working on the development of feature film projects (including animation but not documentary). Call for entries: China day in Cannes

After the success of last year’s edition, Bridging the Dragon and the Marché du Film, in partnership with the CNC (Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée), will present the 2nd edition of the Company Meetings between selected international and Chinese film producers. The initiative will take place on Friday, 19th May 2017 from 14:30 to 17:30 at the Gray d’Albion Beach, Espace CNC. As a part of the China Co-Production Day, this matchmaking event is an ideal platform to facilitate co-productions between China and the rest of the world. During the Company Meetings, producers will be able to share experiences and explore potential partners. Fantastichini nominated as Best Actor

After receiving the nomination as Best Supporting Actor at the last edition of David di Donatello Awards, Ennio Fantastichini received the nomination as Best Actor at the Pellicola d’Oro Awards for his role in “Coffee”. The winners will be announced during the award cerimony which will take place on the 20th April in Rome.
