Call for Entries – Sino-European Production Seminar

Bridging the Dragon and the European Film Market will present the 4th Sino-European Production Seminar on Wednesday, 21 February 2018 at the EFM Producers Hub, in Martin-Gropius-Bau during Berlinale. Like every year the event will gather European film producers with a specific interest in China and help them increase their knowledge on this exciting and more and more relevant film market. The seminar will include panels introducing the latest updates on the Chinese film market and a hands-on workshop. The workshop will be in the form of an open discussion. A number of 6 participants will be selected to pitch the audience a topic, a project or an issue that they feel particularly important to be further explored. Our Chinese experts will give feedback and all the participants will have the chance to give their further contribution in an interactive think-tank format. The selected participants will also have the possibility to attend (at their own cost) the open sessions of Bridging the Dragon’s yearly Sino-European Project Lab which will take place from 22 to 24 February 2018 as a way to further focus on content and create professional connections with Chinese colleagues.
